How to read this figure
Method
Apiaries testing positive for each disease in the year, according to the surveillance table in the SAG bulletin. Diseases are not added together, because an apiary can test positive for more than one.
Limitations
The figure is national, because the surveillance table has no regional breakdown. No total of positive apiaries is published: adding the diseases together would count an apiary positive for several of them more than once.
Confidentiality
The per-apiary threshold of the confidentiality policy applies. The series publishes only the national total and has the same protection as the commune-level series from the same source.
Revision policy
The whole series is recalculated when the agency publishes a new edition, and the previous version is kept as an erratum with its reason.
